Language Therapy
For ages 12 months – 12 years
Language therapy focuses on what a child understands (receptive language) and how they express themselves (expressive language). It is the right starting point for late talkers, children using very few words, or children who struggle to follow instructions.
We use play-based, child-led techniques that turn everyday routines into language-learning opportunities, and we train parents to carry the same strategies into the home.
This program helps with
- Late talking or very limited vocabulary
- Difficulty following simple instructions
- Not combining words into phrases by age 2–2.5
- Difficulty narrating, answering questions or holding conversation
How it works
- Detailed receptive–expressive language assessment
- Play-based individual sessions with clear language targets
- Parent-implemented strategies for home and school
- Coordination with preschool / school teachers where needed
