Occupational Therapy

For ages 2 – 14 years

Occupational therapy (OT) helps children master the 'occupations' of childhood — playing, learning, dressing, eating and writing. Our OT room is equipped for sensory integration therapy, fine-motor training and handwriting readiness.

Children who are constantly 'on the move', avoid certain textures, tire quickly when writing, or struggle with buttons and spoons often benefit enormously from OT.

This program helps with

  • Sensory seeking or sensory-avoidant behaviour
  • Poor pencil grip, messy handwriting, weak fine-motor skills
  • Difficulty with daily activities — dressing, feeding, toileting
  • Poor attention, body awareness and motor planning

How it works

  • Sensory profile and fine/gross motor assessment
  • Sensory-integration sessions in a dedicated OT gym
  • Graded activities that build skills step by step
  • Sensory diet and home program for daily routines
